YOUR MISSION

YOUR PEACE is very much a reflection of your faith in Jesus Christ and your love for God and others. How real is your peace today?

God’s Word tells us that our peace is steered from our minds... For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. –Romans 8:6. We often think that our circumstances steer our peace. But Jesus said that though we have trouble, we would have peace in him… These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. –John 16:33. Many of us have made verbal professions of faith yet still remain empty and unchanged. Our words of faith must agree with our hearts... That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. –Romans 10:9-10. The Holy Scriptures give us a beautiful picture of what this faith looks like…

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. -1 John 4:7-21

May your peace run deep and wide!

YOUR GROWTH is vital to the endurance of your faith journey. Is your growth stagnant or active?

We live in a dark and fallen world. There are powers and principalities working against the children of God. Though their power does not exceed the power of Jesus and His name, they do cause some to be led astray in the faith. We encourage you to find one or two people to meet with regularly and hold each other accountable in the growth of your relationship with the Lord. Our ministry calls this formation a RAP (Reality, Accountability, Prayer) group. When you meet together, you are transparent with one another about your reality, you boldly hold each other accountable, you commit to pray for one another, and together pray how the Spirit leads. Your relationship with the Lord will grow as you spend consistent time in prayer (praising, thanking, confessing, seeking& listening), worship and Bible study. The Holy Scriptures give us so much guidance to live by…

Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let everyone that nameth the name of Jesus Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. -2 Timothy 2:14-26

As you grow in your relationship with the Lord, may the fruit of His working radiate in your life! But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. –Galatians 5:22-23

YOUR PASSION is a powerful way for you to share the love of Jesus Christ with others. What is your passion?

Each one of us were born with natural gifts and talents. Those whom are born of the Spirit have also been given varying Spiritual gifts. And most all of us are passionate about something. When we are pursuing our passion it reflects a love that is contagious. And if in our passion we bear the name of Jesus, then those around us will want His love, too. The Holy Scriptures shed some light on the stewardship of our gifts…

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. -1 Peter 4:7-11

As you pursue your passion, may the love of Jesus shine bright in your life!

YOUR OPPORTUNITY to radiate the love of Jesus is all around you. It’s in the car, the parking lot, the grocery store, the workplace, the home and the church. Opportunities arise with strangers, family and friends. Sometimes it’s random and sometimes it’s planned. Are you embracing the opportunities that God has given you?

In life we go through many seasons. It is God’s will to use us however He chooses and with whomever He chooses, in whatever season we are in. We are His. Our communities, churches, and ministries offer many opportunities to be Christ’s vessel. If the Lord has stirred a passion in you for any of the mission areas of this ministry, please contact us and let us know about it. There are a variety of ways to be used by God through praying, serving and giving. On our contact page, we have links to some other local and international ministries with whom we share common passions. If not this ministry, maybe God wants to use you in one of those ministries. The Holy Scriptures give us some truth about God’s will, our living, and our time…

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. -1 Peter 4:1-6

May you fearlessly embrace whatever opportunities that God is giving you!
